BL860c startup questions.
I am trying to do a BL860c install with HP-UX v2 from a USB DVD drive. However, when I choose EFI Shell, it immediately launches into the HP-UX bootloader. I’m not dropped to an EFI shell prompt. Also, how do you see which entry in the device mapping table could be the USB DVD?
thx in advance.

Re: BL860c startup questions.
If you select the EFI shell, it should not start an OS, but the shell.
Remove the DVD and/or HDD and you will IMHO get the shell.
Now you can check what is wrong.
start with
Shell> info all
Shell> bcfg dump boot
Regarding the DVD device:
Shell> map -r
Device mapping table
fs0 : Acpi(HWP0002,PNP0A03,0)/Pci(2|0)/Usb(0, 2)/CDROM(Entry0)
You can see "USB" and "CDROM" here.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
