BLc7000 power supplies

General question regarding the BLc7000 enclosure running on single phase AC.
Do you need all 6 power supplies to get full N+N AC redundancy on a fully populated enclosure?
I was told 5 will work, but I don't see how if you are using two circuits for full redundancy?

Hi,
It depends of Your HW
but check http://h71019.www7.hp.com/ActiveAnswers/cache/347628-0-0-0-121.html

I think 2+2 power supplies is enough

John -
if you send me your config I can answer the question.
You can have n+n with a single circuit and chances are 2 PS will carry the load; so 2+2 for n+n.

PS - I say 'chances are' b/c it is config-specific.
All the PS, regardless of circuit, share the same bus.
