Re: Bl460c boot from SAN on Windows 2008
AFAIK, for BFS only one path can be present at a time during the WinPE pass (responsible for disk partitioning during 2008 setup) because WinPE is not MP-aware.

Re: Bl460c boot from SAN on Windows 2008
We've faced the same problem with Bl460c and EVA4000. During first setup sequence Windows 2008 (64-bit) setup program cannot do anything with partitions on the SAN, it fails to create and format them. It seems that disks are mounted as read-only or some other driver exception occurs. We tried to use this driver

but nothing intresting happened.
Any clues how to install it?

Re: Bl460c boot from SAN on Windows 2008
Make sure there is only one path through which the LUN can be seen by the fibre HBA while installing the OS.

So we updated firmware of our QMH2462 and all seems to work now properly.
