Blade c7000 enclosure c-class servers bl460c
As for as virtual media is concerned and connecting through console cable,it takes a lot of time to install os on any blade system.
Is there any separate blank available for cdrom or wht the best way to use media in blade servers with fast access

We noticed the same :) you think they'd include a DVD drive when you spend all that money on a chassis.
I've just been using the iLO integrated console to mount my DVD drive/ISO image to perform O/S installs etc. from DVD/CD

Re: Blade c7000 enclosure c-class servers bl460c
There's an I/O cable where you can plug it into the blade.
Use this cable to connect it to a USB cd/dvd drive or any external USB hard drive.
Hope this helps.

Re: Blade c7000 enclosure c-class servers bl460c
the best way to install os is with the usb cd rom to be connected to the front side of the server using the i\o cable.
this will help to achive speed.
