Blade system firmware

My customer has asked me the following question -'Would it be possible to produce a matrix showing HP's recommended firmware versions and the current versions deployed within our environment?

My customer does not want to pay for the new Bladesystem Matrix software but is looking more for an excel type document to keep their firmware manageable and up to date.

Does anybody have anything they currently use for this that works or could point me in the right direction?

I would be most grateful.
