BladeSystem c7000
We are integrating VMWARE on BladeSystem c7000 with ProLiant BL460c G1,we have to host VMWARE ESX in a diffrent network and Guest hosts in diffrent hosts, we have challenge enabling the Guest OS in thier respective VLAN , can you please advice HP soft switch configuration required ?
- At present the i=on the HP softwswitch ESX Sub net is added in default VLAN and also the other required vlans added in port group list
- The VMWARE is configured with VLAN's
-The ESX is accessable from network - VLAN 90
- The Guest Hosts in VLAN 50,60 are not accessble - I'm not able to ping there gateway
- The Layer 3 switch is Cisco swicth - we just want layer 2 VLAN's on HP soft switch and all the phsyical uplink should be trunk ports.
I appreciate your early response.
