Bonding problem with embedded Emulex NIC
Hi to all,
I have problem with bonding miimon=100.
I have HP 1Gb Ethernet Pass-Thru Modules and Emulex and Broadcom NIC.
Bonding with Broadcom NIC is working perfect and with Emulex NIC I have problems:
- When I unplug cable from port Link will staid up (MII Status: up)and traffic will be lost
- WHen I put cable back I have to wait for about 10 minutes that system established physical connection and link become up and start to handle traffic.
Have anybody experienced that same situation?
Regards

Re: Bonding problem with embedded Emulex NIC
Same problem here, the adapter does not detect loss of connection. SO: Debian Linux 6.0 (squeeze). Tried updating both firmware and driver: 4.1.402.20, hp-be2net-4.1.402.6-2 (4.1.402.6) respectively.
