C-7000 and Flex-10 chassis stacking
In the HP April 2010 Virtual Connect Multi-enclosure stacking reference guide they show two options for stacking two c-7000 chassis. One is called Simple stack and the other is ME mesh stack. However, the two diagrams are the exact same. I think they goofed up.

Page 10 and 14 have the diagrams. The descriptions are also exactly the same, except for one sentence about additional stacking links on page 14.
But I don't see how adding additional stacking links turns the topology into a mesh.

Re: C-7000 and Flex-10 chassis stacking
with only two enclosures there is no difference. But with 3 and four, hop count is smaller with this mesh variant

Re: C-7000 and Flex-10 chassis stacking
Thanks, but it seems odd that they would even call out two different configurations yet they are exactly the same. Very confusing!
Is there any reason why you couldn't also connect uplinks to the two VC modules that aren't shown with any in the diagrams? Basically all four VC have uplinks, and have two c-7000s in one domain?
