C-Class blades, SIM, NATs
So if we discover a blade enclosure that uses NAT'ed IP addresses, the real IPs are discovered and entered into SIM. Is there a way around this?

Re: C-Class blades, SIM, NATs
I'm not all that up on SIM, but would guess that two routes would include:
*) don't NAT
or
*) teaching the NAT about SIM
That is one of the downsides about NAT, it often has to become application aware :(

Re: C-Class blades, SIM, NATs
I am actually in the same situation. Is there an official solution better than the one already posted? Is there a way for it to not discover the real IPs of the enclosure?

Re: C-Class blades, SIM, NATs
If you think how SIM works it indicates to me that its very difficult.
First SIM pings an address.
Then it tries to login or talk to that address.
Then it requests information.
So when it requests information it will get the true IP.
Check the SIM forum to see if they have a solution.
