If replacing a failed OA with a used OA, will the configuration of the active OA over-write the configuration of the standby OA (replacement)?

Thanks for your reply. Apologies for not being more specific. I want to be sure that the active OA will over-write the configuration of the replacement so not to cause any interruption to the chassis. I have read the document on how to replace the OA but it isn't specific enough to answer this question. The user manual covers how to reset the OA but I don't think that should be done on a live chassis.
