C7000 chassis threshold settings.

Jenny had a customer question on the c7000:

On the C7000 chassis can the thresholds be adjusted for monitoring alerts, i.e. setting the warning temp lower?   Our facilities is setting up monitoring of the chassis via a custom Telnet script and want to test out the data they receive.  I haven’t been able to find a way to set it, so I’m wondering if it something that could be hard set and can’t be change?

The thresholds are set on each device and cannot be changed.

You could use a heat source, (very carefully) in front of the enclosure to test server thermal thresholds and the Onboard Administrator response.
