C7000 lifecycle guidance.
Alan had a customer question on when to upgrade for a c7000 enclosure:
*************
I have a customer who wants to lifecycle older enclosures and replace them with new platinum enclosures as they have budget currently. I went through what I would consider to be limiting factors on old enclosures. Backplane Bandwidth for new interconnect technologies ,power supply efficiency, and Updated OA’s.
Obliviously new enclosures would have warranty for at least 3years and would have that new enclosure smell J
Are there any other compelling reasons / guidance on when to lifecycle them out.?
Thanks for any comments / feedback.

Power Supply Capacity not just Efficiency …. 2650Watt. And Location Discovery services are available on the new Platinum enclosures.
