C7000 redudancy testing, mangement module + VConnect module removal

Hi

I am looking at doing some redudancy testing on a C7000 chassis. Do HP have any guidance on removing VConnect modules and management modules physically from the Chasis?

Are they hot-swap?  Is this advised?

Check the health of the chassis and the VC Domain (VCSU healthcheck), if it is healthy it'll work as expected - as long as you have your redundant links configured correctly.  

When I did this testing for a very large company I didn't actually remove the modules.   Initially I hit the virtual Reset button, this caused some really weird issues as I was going back and forth across a four chassis stack.  Learn from my mistakes and power the module off if you go this route.  In the past with previous firmware versions HP has recommended  this route (or physically removing the modules as you are thinking of doing).

Does this means it requires physical removal of the VCM or not needed ?

No you do not need to physically remove it.  Use the Virtual Button to Power Off.
