CMVI responder(s) in HP servers.??

What exactly what CMVI responders are in reference to HP servers, C7000? A piece of hardware, software?? What is it? What function does it serve?

Thanks in advance. By the way, I did a google search and found no revelant information on the topic.

I think it is 'common mode voltage input' which is a piece of hardware. But the context would help a lot...
