Can't see Qlogic hba's on XEN 5.0 BL-465cG5

I'm try to complete a new install of Citrix XENSERVER 5.0 on a BL-465c-G5 blade. I have Qlogic hba's installed but can't see them from the os. I've tried to install the drivers from Qlogic for Linux 5.0 but ran into miscellaneous errors about missing destination paths, no 'make', etc.

I haven't installed any HP agents because a quick search for them on HP's site didn't yield anything. Do such agents exist and, if so, would they allow me to see the hba's?

The qla2xxx driver included with XenServer 5.0 works fine with the QLogic mezz card in a BL465 G5.

From the Xen console screen open a command shell and run "lsmod" to see if the qla2xxx driver is loaded. You can also run /opt/QLogic_Corporation/SANsurferCLI/scli to check the HBA

You need no agents to access the HBA's
