Can't set IP for Fibre Channel module

Going to 'Enclosure Bay IP Addressing' -> 'Interconnect Bays'... the 'Current Address' for Bay 3 (and 4 in my situation) is 0.0.0.0

I tried to fill in the ABIPA Address to a valid IP address (in the same subnet as the OA), but the 'Current Address' will not change. I also set the checkbox to enable the bay.

My firmware version of OA is v2.20

Anyone to help?

Re: Can't set IP for Fibre Channel module

EBIPA is to set an IP for the BAY not for the Interconnect switch that means that is the interconnect switch does not accept DHCP IP settings won't work at all !!!

at this point what you need to do will be to access the interconnect switch with serial console cable or whatever it uses to log into the CLI or switch console go thru the settings and set up and static IP address As soonest you do that the IP will be show in EBIPA !

Re: Can't set IP for Fibre Channel module

You can't set EBIPA on the Fibre Channel module.
You need to login to the switch and set the IP manually.
EBIPA works fine with the Ethernet modules.

Re: Can't set IP for Fibre Channel module

My fault. I was trying to set the IP address on the fibrechannel. But I heard that't not possible. I used to setup a brocade switch.
