Cisco 3020 uplink port protblem

Dear All

We have C7000 Enclosure , with two cisco 3020 switch, when we connect the up link fibre, its not getting connected, but with ethernet up link is working fine..is there any config.to be done ??

The dual-media ports will autosense the media type so there should be no config to be done.

However, the 3020's have known issues with early versions of IOS connecting via fiber. Take a look at the attached advisory:

The IOS Ver. is already Version 12.2(25)SEF1
as per the document it should support ..any other solution...

I simply reloaded the 3020 and then I got trunk working with 6509. 12.2(25)SEF1.

I would still update the IOS. There are some other fiber-related fixes listed in the release notes of newer IOS versions. I would recommend 12.2.(37)
