Cisco switche placement in c-7000 enclosure

We recently received a new rack of c-7000 blade enclosures with Cisco 3120-G network switches installed in interconnect bays 1 & 2 and bays 5 & 6. Our existing c-7000 enclosures use virtualconnect modules in bays 1 & 2 and ethernet modules in bays 3 & 4. The Cisco switches in the new enclosures will provide the same functionality as the virtualconnect and ethernet modules in the old enclosures. We do not currently have any SAN interconnect modules in any enclosures.
My question is: Is there any reason to move the second two Cisco switches from interconnect bays 5 & 6 to bays 3 & 4, to match the virtualconnect module and ethernet interconnect module placement of the older enclosures? From what I have read in the documentation, as long as we use the proper mezzanine connectors when adding fiber cards or additional nic cards to the blades, there should not be a problem.

Thanks.

Yes this looks better, for your future expansion if you want to add fiber cards or additional nic cards you can have them in the Bay 5 and 6 and 7 and 8.

If you want to use a QUAD-port mezzanine card then you have to connect them to Mez 2 in half height and mez 3 in Full height blade which will map to Bay 5 and 6 and 7 and 8.

It makes your work little easier.
As long as we use the proper mezzanine connectors there won't be any problem.

Well ... not exactly.

You also must match right interconnect bays with correct mezzazine slots in the blades. If You want to move the switches you must also move the mezzazine cards
