Communication With the Onboard Administrator Was Lost

hi team,

 

i am currently encountering this issue when logging into the OA using internet explorer 8.

after a few seconds or minutes, i get logged off the OA and a message is displayed "Communication With the Onboard Administrator Was Lost".

 

this advisory does not apply as i am only having 1 session, and first time to login:

i have previously connected to the OA without any issues.

 

i can connect to the OA without any issues if i am using firefox browser.

 

i am suspecting issues with my browser.  has anyone encountered this?

how was it fixed?

3.32  .... have tried upgrading my browser to version 9. still the same.

I've abandoned all hope of IE with Bladesystem. I use Firefox exclusively. IE is the only supported browser in our organization, and I've been allowed the excetion to use it, but just for enclosure work.

 

My local HP support reps only use Firefox and quietly suggest I only use FF for c7000 work.

i am using firefox as well as an alternative, however i would like to know how to fix this issue. hope anyone out there has experienced this and share how to fix the issue. thanks.

I have IE7 and no issues when webbing into the OA. Any chance you can go back to IE7?

Completely clear your cache from your browser. I had this very similar issue, and after a full cache clear, and restarting IE, everything started working fine.
