Configuring HP c7000 GbE2c Ethernet Blade Switch to communicate with cisco 4507 L3 switch

Hi,

we are having 10 servers in different VLANs. also we had done a teaming in Server side. we need to provide redundant in switch level (ie one switch (GbE2c) connecting to L3 and another connecting to L2) we have tried some config but nothing happened. Please help us .

This is more a networking than "Blade" question.

Have you read this?

There is no such thing like switch failover, the best option will be using NIC Teaming in conjunction with Uplink failure detection.

UFD allows the switch to monitor specific uplink ports to detect link failures. When the switch detects a link failure, it
automatically disables specific downlink ports. The corresponding server├в s network adapter can detect the disabled
downlink, and trigger a network-adapter failover to another port on the switch, or another switch in the chassis.
The switch automatically enables the downlink ports when the uplink returns to service.

Check the attached file, it will show the easier way to deploy a GbE2c on Cisco Based network.
