We upgrade our bios on the OA and all modules to the newest releases. Now the device bays no longer show the name of the profile in use. Should I reflash? The profiles work and apply the correct settings to each blade but in the OA under "device bays" it usually has a list of profiles used in for each blade. From what Im reading it probably only shows the name of the actual server and not the profile. Is this true? And it doesnt show up with vmware servers running?
OA 2.20
VC-Enet 1.24
VC-Fiber 1.11
Virtual Connect Manager 1.24
OA 2.20
VC-Enet 1.24
VC-Fiber 1.11
Virtual Connect Manager 1.24

Solution
Can you describe little more about what you mean by Profile name displayed under the device bays.
Did you mean you are not seeing the server name for the server and you are seeing the Model name Example Proliant BL465c.
Then:
Check the RBSU, Server Asset text, Server info text, Server Name.
Provide a Valid name it will be reflected in OA under device bays.
