Hi All,
We are using Virtual Connect with 802.3 AD Port Groups and VLAN Trunks. I would like to be able to map 2 VC Networks to 4 NICs (on 1 blade) in a single ESX virtual switch. I know IP Hash cannot be used but will Port ID or MAC Hash work algrorithings work? I want to simplify my Virtual Switch by doing this. Also, will this cause any bad overhead? Thanks for any help!!

Solution
Port ID or MAC Hash will work as they don't require any port trunking on the downlinks of the directly connected switch (in this case VC)
I don't know of any overhead that will be caused.
having 2 VC networks will give you an active/active type of configuration, i.e. both VC networks will have active connections and provide more bandwidth to the servers.
