Error 93 when upgrading Onboard Administrator firmware

Hi!

We have two blade enclosures; both c7000. I have upgraded the FW on all blades (both enclosures are pretty much full) successfully.

However; upgrading the acutual OA firmware always fails on one of the enclosures, stating error 93. I cannot seem to find out what that indicates, and it's quite frustrating.

I've tried both via web interface, and via the self-extractor, same result.
The other enclose was upgraded fine to latest FW (2.41) via self-extrector.

Any ideas here? I'm kind of stumped.

Do you have 1 OA or 2?

if you have 2, transition to OA 2 and make it active one, try to install the FW there.

I have two, only one is connected however (I assume you have to have both connected to the network, or else switching would make both unavailable)?

Re: Error 93 when upgrading Onboard Administrator firmware

Update: tried switching them back and forth, without any luck. Also tried resetting them both (not factory reset).

Found v.2.20 also, tried that with the same result.

Active OA log says:

Mar 4 12:58:19 OA: Failed to copy firmware image to the Standby Onboard Administrator
Mar 4 12:58:19 OA: The Active and Standby Onboard Administrators may not be communicating reliably
Mar 4 12:58:19 OA: Consider resetting the Standby and/or Active Onboard Administrators and retrying
Mar 4 12:58:19 OA: Failed flashing Standby Onboard Administrator
Mar 4 12:58:19 OA: Please inspect the system log on the Standby Onboard Administrator for further details
Mar 4 12:58:19 OA: Active Onboard Administrator will not be flashed

What if you work with 1 OA in your enclosure? have you tried that??

removing the stand by and trying to update the active one. (1 oa in the enclo)
