Re: Fan controls on c3000?
The C3000 have 4 to 6 active cool fans.
Enclosure fans run at full speed when no Onboard Administrator is present.
The Onboard Administrator monitors fan and server placement.

Re: Fan controls on c3000?
We have 6 fans in our setup, but we also use the Onboard Administrator. Like you said, it does MONITOR the fans, but is there any configuration we can do to control them or set parameters for when they should increase speed?
Everything I see boasts how great it is that the fans are controlled automatically...

SolutionNo. The Fan speed will increase depending on the server temperature. When the server iLO is not responding or when you Insert a server to the enclosure for the first time, you do see Fan's run @ 90%. It is expected behavior.
If all your servers are Ok. and the iLO's are good then the Fan shouldn't run @ 90%.
