Hi
Just updating the firmware on our BL460C Blades using the new 8.40 FW CD.
Just about to apply all the updates and then I noticed it said the localhost operating system was SUSE Linux Enterprise Server rather than Windows 2003 Ent 64-bit. Unless this is the OS that the CD uses to boot from?
I know the firmware is independant of the OS I just thought this was a bit odd.
Any comments?

Solution
Doug,
This is on our list of fixes for the next Firmware CD release. When you boot from the CD, it will show "Offline - Local Server" instead of showing "SuSE Linux Enterprise Server". This was a relic left from when we added support to show the running OS on the target.
