Firmware for HP BL890 i4 npar in C7000 encl. & Issue on booting from DVD drive
Please,
where can i get a comprehensive firmware list for download for my new HP BL890 i4 npar in C7000 encl.
I could boot from HP-UX DCE 11.3 using ILO Virtual media, but not from DVD drive. This is the 3rd DVD drive i have just tried.
Please advice.

The server cannot boot from some 3th party drives.
Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Firmware for HP BL890 i4 npar in C7000 encl. & Issue on booting from DVD drive
IMHO an installation from a real DVD drive is much slower compared to virtual media or even network based install. By the way, the advanced ILO license is already included.
Hope this helps!

Torsten.
