Flex-10 OR BroadCom bnx2x? NO MORE THAN 1.70Mpps allowed

VC-Flex10 Does not allow more than 1.70Mega Packet Per Second flow to the BroadCom bnx2x cards. What's wrong? is this because of Flex-10 or bnx2x?

Re: Flex-10 OR BroadCom bnx2x? NO MORE THAN 1.70Mpps allowed

First, I have to Correct: no more than 1.9 (~2) Mpps is allowed!

Then, When using the single LOM, the maximum rate is 1.9Mpps. When using both LOMs the overall Rate (LOM1+LOM2) is yet 1.9Mpps!

How is it possible? while they use different Downlink Ports!

Where do You measure this ? server has 2 x 10Gb connection to flex-10 module.

What firmwares are in use
@server side
@virtual connect

What drivers are in use, some OS do not supply good flexnic drivers...

And what is the CPU utilization of *each* core in the blade at the time?

Re: Flex-10 OR BroadCom bnx2x? NO MORE THAN 1.70Mpps allowed

Firmware Version @ Serverside: BC:4.8.0
Our OS is linux (Dist: Ubuntu)
The bnx2x driver is the driver @ kernel 2.6.34

Firmware Version of VC: 2.33

I even change the flow control and packet buffer over-allocation ratio parameters at advanced-networking of VC but it does not change!

and CPU Utilization is about 10-15%

Of each core, or overall? Just how are the interrupts being spread across the cores?
