Flex-10 module not getting ip address dispite EBIPA
I have a new c7000 enclosure that I'm configuring and one of the two Flex-10 interconnect modules is not grabbing an IP. One of the modules is new and came with firmware 4.40 whereas the second is one we had at version 2.32.
The new module is in bay 1. the second module is in bay 6. I did this so that I would not have firmware mismatch issues etc. Please let me know if this does not make sense.
Module 1 in Bay 1 vcsu output:
Power : On
Health : Ok
IP Address : 10.10.3.23 (on my management network)
IP Connectivity : OK
Module 2 in Bay 6 vcsu output:
Power : On
Health : Degraded
IP Address : 0.0.0.0
IP Connectivity : Failed
EBIPA is configured via the enclusure interconnect bays...
No DHCP server exists on the subnet. OA has IP on management network...
As far as I know I cannot upgrade firmware on module without IP??
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
~Mike
