Flex10 Module (455880-B21) and 1GB SFPs

Is it possible to use 1Gb SFPs on the Flex10 (455880-B21) module for the c3000/c7000 bladesystem?

Also, does the Flex10 module support flow control?

Re: Flex10 Module (455880-B21) and 1GB SFPs

One more question, if I use 1G SFPs to connect to our core, will the Flex10 still run at 10G? For example will the blades each still get 10G connectivity?

We plan to connect our SAN directly into the Flex10 at 10G as well? Will this run at 10G even if we have connections to our core at 1G only?

Re: Flex10 Module (455880-B21) and 1GB SFPs

You will get 10Gb from blade to VC module. From that point forward it depends your uplink bandwith (1Gb = 1Gb, 10Gb = 10Gb)
