HP B-series 8/24c SAN Switch - 2 problems
I have a c7000 with BL460c G1 blades and an attached MSA2324fc through a couple of B-series 8.24c switches. I recently added another BL460c G1 to slot 1 (It has RHEL 6 installed). I can see the correct WWN on the server by cat'ing /sys/class/scsi_host/host[01]/device/fc_host:host[01]/port_name. I can also see from dmesg that QLogic Fibre Channel HBA driver (qla2) is loaded. So, it looks like the blade is operating correctly. When I get on the onboard administrator and look at the port mapping for the switch, I see "No connection" under port status for port 1. I tried accessing the management console, but it seems to be trying to access www.google.com/ig for some reason. Any ideas how to get the SAN switch to recogize the fibre channel card in slot 1 and how to get the management console to work?
The switch has a valid ip address in the correct range. I can ssh to it. The switch has firmware version 6.2.0d.
Regards,
Brad
