HP BLC3000 and MSA1000
Hello,
my company bought a BLC3000 blade enclosure and now I'd like to connect it to a MSA1000 SAN. On my enclosure I don't have any fiber channel adapter, so I was wondering which one buy to achieve my result.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: HP BLC3000 and MSA1000
What are the servers inside the chassis. Now G6 servers are available. With that you can go for 8 Gb HBA of Emulex and Qlogic and u may need to purchase Interconnect Switch for the enclosure or FC pass through module if you have switch option for MSA1000.
More over you need to check for the compatibility of MSA1000 with the OS you are going to install on the blade servers. New OS like Windows 2008 R2 / SLES 10 SP3 onwards there is no support for MSA1000.

Re: HP BLC3000 and MSA1000
Hello, are you absolutely sure of this incompatibility between W2008 R2 and MSA1000?
Maybe you meant the ACU?
beacause I have a Windows Server 2008R2 STD with a LUN living on a MSA1000 SAN.
Thanks

Re: HP BLC3000 and MSA1000
As per support matrix MSA1000 is supported upto Windows 2003 only.
It may work with 2008 but there will be no official support from vendors.
