HP Blade C7000/G2e Switches
does anyone on this forum have any experience setting up dhcp to relay trough hp G2e switches? basically i have a dhcp server on a blade but when I activate the service for some reason the dhcp client requests doesnt get to the server on the blade chassis. ive verified that by running wireshark on the dhcp server. no firewall or access list is in effect on my core routers/switches. ive added the Ip-helper command on the core routers as well. Is there a configuration in hpGe2 switches that blocks dhcp requests?

Re: HP Blade C7000/G2e Switches
my GbE2's works just fine... pass dhcp no problems to the other blades in the chassis. No special configuration on them, straight out of the box.
Do you have any VLAN's configured? If so, do you have other server ports in different vlans? and have a scope for that vlan set up?

Re: HP Blade C7000/G2e Switches
let me be a bit clearer. my windows 2008 dhcp server is hosted on one of the blades. This dhcp must responding to DHCP request from clients outside of the blade on my local LAN.
