Re: HP GBE2 c Switch for C-Class blade system

(I have no procurve to test but,

The CLIref manual says this :
>>> The MAC address can be found on a small white label on the back panel of the GbE2 Interconnect Switch. The
MAC address can also be found in the System Information menu (See the â System informationâ section in the
â Information Menuâ chapter.) <<<

NB! this is the MAC address of the switch management processor, not a port.
Ports mac adresses probably are sequential-incremental to this adress.

Try command's : "/info/l2/fdb/dump" and "/info/l2/fdb/port ..."

Hi Aamir,

found this link:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/networking/software/Mgmt-Oct2005-59906023-AppD.pdf

that says:
Type the following command to display the MAC address for each port on
the switch:
ProCurve# walkmib ifPhysAddress
