HP Onboard Administrator Blades- where are the disk drives?
Am new to the HP Blades, was working and getting familier with the onboard administrator and noticed that while it does have a wealth of information about the rack overview and what devices make it up- it does not reflect the disk drives. Is this normal? Any insight?
Thanx in advance

Hi,
OA won't see if the disk is broken/disk info. You need to have Proliant Support Pack installed on blades to get notifications on disk drives.

Re: HP Onboard Administrator Blades- where are the disk drives?
Great Thanx!
That explains why our new Proliant servers( which do not have an OS-plans are to run Red Hat) do not show the disks in the OA.
but:
We do have two other existing HP Blade "Integrity" servers with BL870/Bl860 running HP-UX 11i that the OA still does not reflect the disk drives.
Any Ideas for that? Thanx again!
