Help: Power Enclosure Unknown Power Consumption (Enclosure Address 4CBB)

On our blade systems, we are always getting the following OpenView alarm from some system's IML:

Severity: Repaired
Class: Rack Infrastructure
Last Update: 12/18/2008 13:01
Initial Update: 12/18/2008 12:52
Count: 1
Description: Power Enclosure Unknown Power Consumption (Enclosure Address 4CBB)

This alarm wil repeat on a server 3 to 4 times an hour. How would I correct this?

Not clear on what you're asking but if you want to know how to clear an IML event:

Make sure it is really repaired (or cleared) in the system's IML. If it isn't, open the log and right click on the event to mark it cleared or check box depending upon your method of access.

Is this a p-class or c-class blade enclosure? If its p-class what is the management fw? If its c-class what is the OA fw?

Re: Help: Power Enclosure Unknown Power Consumption (Enclosure Address 4CBB)

There were a number of extraneous power consumption messages with the older p-class management fw. The latest & last version is 2.10:

If you have any trouble getting to the URL, go to www.hp.com, Support & Drivers, then search by BL20p
