How to configure Trunking between VC Ethernet Interconnect and CISCO Switch ?
I want to configure trunking to enable the blade servers in C7000 enclosure to communicate to the WAN through their VC Ethernet Interconnect module that is uplinked to a CISCO switch.
I have been able to get to the Virtual Connect.
Please what is the next step ?

Re: How to configure Trunking between VC Ethernet Interconnect and CISCO Switch ?
1. connect cables between your VC ENet modules and the cisco switch.
2. Create a Shared UplinkSet for each Module that you want to use (See
under "Define" menu) and add the ports which have physical connectivity to Cisco Switch. Do not mix ports from different modules in the same uplink set.
3. create VC vlans (Ethernet Networks) and assign them to the UpLinkSets (see under "Define" menu).
4. create VC profile for each blade, and assign the appropriate VC vlan to the NIC ports.
Hope this gets you started.
Dave.
