How to get 220VAC -1 Phase from 110VAC Electric Energy Public Source
I am planning to install a C7000 blade enclosure and I am planning to use 2 PDU┬┤s (PN:252663-D75) , but I don┬┤t not exactly how to get 220V -1 Phase. The problem is that in my country we have only 110V AC from the electrical energy public source.
I have some questions:
1) The CS8269 Plug has 3 pines: what is the distribution of each pin ( Pin1= phase 1, Pin 2= Neutral; Pin 3 = Ground) ?????.
2) Is it correct to get 2 phases plus neutral from the public source, in order to get 220V and then feed the PDU???? and the ground???? where should I connect the ground??? in the walls of the rack???.
I was looking for information but without luck

If your country has 2-phase power system so that there is exactly the difference of one half-cycle between the phases, it may be possible to get 220V by connecting to 2 different phases instead of any one phase and a neutral. In this case, a proper ground connection will be very important.
In any case, wiring the system wrong may cause the exterior metal parts of the enclosure to become energized to 110V. If you touch this and a grounded object at the same time, this voltage is more than enough to kill you if it travels across your body. Even if it does not kill, it will hurt a lot and cause muscle cramps, so you may not be able to let go of the energized object on your own.
Connecting the ground to the walls of the rack is not sufficient unless the rack itself is well-grounded. A fault in the enclosure might cause the exterior metal parts to become energized: a good ground connection makes this an immediate short circuit, causing a breaker to trigger or a fuse to blow, making the system safe to touch.
If the ground connection is attached to the walls of the rack and the rack itself is not grounded, a fault will just cause the entire rack to become energized, making a big hazard to people working near it.
A qualified electrician will know the grounding requirements (both technical and legal) of your country and can provide the solution for your problems.
