Hp 7000 Dual 10gb Bl-c switches
Unable to get second blade switch in slot 7/8 to link up to Cisco switch. Switch in blade 5/6 works fine. Swapped switches between slots, replaced mid-plane assembly and both switches. Issue seems to be with slot 7/8. Configuration between both switches is identical.

Re: Hp 7000 Dual 10gb Bl-c switches
Yup mezz cards are installed in each blade. We have 3 BL490's and 2 BL460's. In the back in slot 7/8 we have the 10gb bl-c switches.

Re: Hp 7000 Dual 10gb Bl-c switches
I could be wrong but I dont think 10GB Mezz cards map to 7 and 8, only port 3 and 4 of a Quad Port 1GB Card.
For your Half Height Blades
Onboard = IC 1/2
Mezz 1 = IC 3/4
Mezz 2 Dual Port = IC 5/6
Mezz 2 Quad port = IC 5/6/7/8
Your 10GB Cards, assuming Mezz 2 are mapped to 5/6 so having the Interonnects in 7 and 8 will not work.
