Hp Blade Center and 3rd party SAN
We are going to eval a Blade Center, and I wanted some input on connecting the HP Blade system to an EMC Clariion array via a Cisco MDS 9513 switch.
I've been told by the HP folks that they want us to eval EVA system and brocade switches. Which is fine for an Eval but I need to know if anyone has done it with EMC and Cisco.

Re: Hp Blade Center and 3rd party SAN
We have some c-class blades on EMC Symmetrix and Cisco switches (sorry, I don't recall the exact model). I haven't seen problems on the server end and our SAN admin has not voiced any complaints either, so I guess all is well.
EMC has a huge library of compatibility testing data available on its Powerlink support website, have you checked it?

Yes lots of people have connected HP Bladesystem to EMC Clariion via Cisco switches. Check with EMC for supported driver/bios/firmware matrices
