Hp Blade c7000 Integrity servers power requirement!!
We are planning to buy HP blade servers (c7000) for that we need to plan for the power requirement for these servers.
Currently, In our lab we have more than 30 HP Rx2660 servers and they are consuming not more than 90A.
Could anyone please tell me how to plan for the power requirements of these servers and what is the maximum power requirement for 18 blade servers.
In addition to that, i also want to know should there be separate power supply for enclosures and servers??
I have lots of confusion in this regard, bcz i never worked on blade systems. I ll be grateful to you all for the help.
Thanks in advance,
Amit

For power requirements, you may want to use
HP BladeSystem Power Sizer

Re: Hp Blade c7000 Integrity servers power requirement!!
In the active answrsl link posted by Sameer you should put all features for the c7000, such as commucnication bays, and full features of your servers.
To connect the power subsystem of the blade encloshure system, view the configuration rules in the next document link

For C7000 you can insert 6 power supply modules. Each power supply will consume 2250W
If it is in N+N = 3+3 redundant mode.
Total = 6750 W
If you configure N+1 Mode = 11250W.

Re: Hp Blade c7000 Integrity servers power requirement!!
No. The servers are inserted in enclosures (ofcourse). So you will give power to the enclosure.
