ILO Firmware dowgraded after Firmware CD is used

Hi, I'm using the firmware CD to automate deployment of newer firmware when our blades get their OS installed.
I'm using the following command line after mounting the Firmware ISO image (version 8.50) on a local folder:
./hpsum /romonly /silent /express_install

Until now it has been giving me excellent results, but about 2 weeks ago, our most recent blades (BL580G5s and BL460G6s) came with ILO 1.77 factory installed.
When i run the firmware upgrade ILO FW gets downgraded to 1.70.
Is there any way to exclude ILO or not to force the downgrade ?

Thanks

Re: ILO Firmware dowgraded after Firmware CD is used

You should update to version 1.78 anyway.

AFAIR on the CD is version 1.77.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: ILO Firmware dowgraded after Firmware CD is used

Forgot to mention that these are Linux Boxes (mostly Red Hat 5.3)
AFAIK when running
hpsum /romonly /silent /express_install from the ILO Firmware it always installs is 1.70 (no matter what version even if newer, it will get overritten with 1.70)

Re: ILO Firmware dowgraded after Firmware CD is used

Gerardo,
The /express_install switch also forces the installation of whatever is on the CD. To get around this, use the /silent option and the /force option will not be implied.
