ILO access becomes unavailable
Hi,
When i am accessing ILO from blades and loose comunications, when i try to connect again the message apears: "cannot connect to ilo. session is in use in a diferent session" and i can't access the blade's ilo unless i power it off, remove blade from bay and insert it again.
Can anyone help me? how can i access again to ilo without this procedure?

Re: ILO access becomes unavailable
I've run into this before as well.
Easiest way to resolve this is to do a reset on the iLO. Its under Diagnostics I believe. After the reset you have to wait 60 seconds to get back in, but at least then you don't have to power down the blade.

This can be done also from the operating system, with the hponcfg utility:

Re: ILO access becomes unavailable
Hello LRP,
Instead, you may try a much simpler way:
Login to the Web GUI of ilo & go to the remote console TAB; under SETTINGS, you have an "acquire" option; Enable it; This is used to FORCE disconnect sessions;
;) Regards.
