Installing Windows 7 x64 on BL460c G6

Hello,
I need to install Windows 7 x64 on a HP BL460c so it can be used as a workstation.
I am unable to locate a suitable driver for the HP Smart Array P410i Controller. Can anybody help or point me in the right direction please? I have tried all of the Windows drivers.
Is their a way that a driver can be modified to work?
Thanks in advance,
Matt

Windows 7 (any type) is not supported on BL460c G6.

Thanks for your reply.

The Blade is badged a BL460c but the box it came in says it├в s a WS460c. The Part number is 580641-B21...

I have tried using the driver in the support pack for the P410i, but when installing the driver (in windows setup) it does pick up the P410i but when you select it displays an error message
"No new devices could be found. Make sure the driver files are correct and located on the installation media."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Installing Windows 7 x64 on BL460c G6

thanks for the link,
I have downloaded and extracted this PSP.
It contains the same version driver that I have tried previously, "HP ProLiant Smart Array SAS/SATA Controller Driver for Windows Server 2008 x 64 Edition
Version 6.20.0.64
I have exactly the same problem, I have also logged this with HP support... still awaiting their response..

including the W2008 drivers?

Did you try installing another OS (eg W2008) to check if the controller functions at all?

I have found that the only way to install win7 was via a USB and not a DVD.
thanks
