LOTS of errors in the system log

I have a clustered pair of BL460C blade servers in an c7000 chassis that are connected via iSCSI to an EMC SAN.

Just recently I have started received thousands of error messages in the system event log: Event ID 23, Source: BXOIS. I am getting about 20-30 of these errors per second!

There is very little on Google and nothing on Microsoft about this error message.

Has anyone seen this???

thanks,

DK

Re: LOTS of errors in the system log

Hi,
This is a known issue, we are working to have this issue resolved on our next NCU version 9.2.

In the mean time if you are running 9.1 downgrade it to 8.80.

This will reduce this errors messages.

the problem is the NIC teaming driver.

The other option unfortunately is dissolving the NIC teaming until the new version comes up.

This error just happens with the configuration you have.

I hope this information help you

Re: LOTS of errors in the system log

We have a similar problem. Teamed nics for data and using the iscsi mode of the multifunction nic for iscsi.

Using version 9.20.0.24 of the NCU but still seeing these errors. Also seem to have a memory leak - non paged pool bytes running low after some time and server freezes.

Seen this article from 2005...is this still valid?
