OS cannot detect the NICs connected to Procurve 6120 and Pass-thru

In a c3000 enclosure, I am using a mezzanine card and when I try to access Mezzanine NIC through pass-thru or procurve 6120 switch, The Module receives the traffic well and the corresponding led shows everything is OK but the OS cannot detect the corresponding eth! This does not happen when using Flex-10 VC!

Where is your mezz card and where is your interconnect ? c3000 might confuse with port mapping...

If you also happen to have a VC Flex-10 module installed in the chassis, at which firmware version is it?

If you are using Mezzanine card 1 then you need to put the Interconnect module in Inter connect Bay 2.

If in Slot 2 then port mapping will be come across Interconnect Bay 3 and 4.

If you want to use the VC in other than Interconnect Bay 1 then you need to upgrade the VC Firmware to minumum 3.01 which eleminates some bay restrictions.

In earlier Interconnect Bay1 should be populated with VC Module before using the VC flex in any other Bays.
