Oracle Product Implementation Issue with HP Blades
Hi,
Good Day.
we are facing a problem during the implementaion of an Oracle Product with HP Blade Servers.
Details:
Oracle Product: Oracle Real User Exeperience Insight
HP Machine: Blade Servers
Scenario:
Core Switch is uplink with Layre-2 Switch, when we connect a Server Machine directly to that Layer-2 Switch the Oracle Product run fine.
but when we attach the HP Blade Enclosure Switch with that Layer-2 Switch the Oracle Product did'nt work.
An earlier response will be highly oblidged.
Regards,

Re: Oracle Product Implementation Issue with HP Blades
Shalom,
I'd start with the basics.
Run ethtool to see if you even have link.
If there is no network connectivity or a conflict between /etc/hosts and assigned networking, this would explain a lot.

Re: Oracle Product Implementation Issue with HP Blades
Hi Muhammad,
A couple of questions.
1. What types of blades?
2. What OS? (Version ?)
3. What Enclosure? (c3000, c7000)
4. What Interconnect modules? (Are you using Virtual Connect?)
5. What firmware levels. (OA's, IC Modules, iLO's, etc.)
and
6. When you say "Oracle Product didn't work..", what exactly does that mean? Is it a connectivity problem?, or is it actually "App doesn't run" issue?
Dave.
