Re: P-Class power redundacy
Updating the firmware(s) resolved the "redundancy lost issue" I had.
Regards.

SolutionJames is right. As some of us working as support, it happens very often that we must convince someone that firmware should be updated. A lot of people rely on the motto "never touch a running system", but there are some exceptions. Further not every changes in the firmware versions are documented so good to include all fixes/enhancements. Further there can't be advisory for evething that can occur.
As in your case you can show following :
1. The latest Firmware "Revision history" - includes fixes and enhancements of every version :
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=3709945&prodSeriesId=1121598&swItem=MTX-9e0e8e80b2d545eeaa26c38678&prodNameId=3288176&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=5
- your issue seems to be addressed in 2.30. However it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to update to 2.40.
2. E.g. following advisories(not directly addressing the issue maybe) :
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&objectID=c01198435
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&objectID=c00774329
3. Why should I update my firmware(Blades are based on the ProLiant architecture) :
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00264524/c00264524.pdf
If you want the issue fixed, you have to do it. That's it
Hope this helps to convince the needed audience that a firmware update is mandatory
Regards
