Re: P class Blade enclosure

Hi Lichel,

You can try the HP BladeSystem p-Class Sizing Utility. It is a free tool available on the HP website. It provides valuable information for planning, ordering components, and preparing a site for delivery and installation of HP BladeSystem solutions. The user enters the desired server blade and enclosure configurations, chooses interconnects, and enters data center power information. Based on this user input, the Sizing Utility then calculates and displays:
â ¢ Maximum power specifications.
â ¢ Heat generation and cooling requirements
â ¢ Summary table of server blade components in the rack (server blades, memory, processor, etc.)
â ¢ Number of power supplies and power enclosures needed for both redundant and non-redundant power configurations
â ¢ System weight
â ¢ Equipment list

Re: P class Blade enclosure

Hi Lichel,

In my last reply there was a mistake.

you need one more single phase 3U power supply to meet your requirement as this is an enhanced P Blade enclosure.

As you told "It is having six slots for power supply . But we r using 4 P.S. ".

You are using a 3U single phase power supply enclosure. In this 3rd and 6th slote will not be populated and it cannot be used.

This slots are used in 3phase 3U enclosure.

Simply,

You may install one more 3U single phase powersupply and give power from different sourse.

you may see the page 11/22 , the diagram is given in the pdf.( same path is given by Sobhan also)
