Power management controller firmware

Can i upgrade the power management controller firmware online ?My server is running RHEL 4 and needs to upgrade the firware to 3.4 without restarting the server since its in production .

You can run the PMC firmware upgrade online but you will need to restart the server to activate the new firmware.
