ProLiant BL465c G5 = Divide By Zero
When booting up ProLiant BL465c G5 blades OR I have experienced it with HP BL385 G2 2u Server I get a red screen with
Divide By Zero

EBP-A0ED0E11 ESI=0000F80D EDI=0000F814

CS:EIP=1000:0000A141 SS:ESP=0030:0000FCDA
EFLAGS=00000813
When I encountered this problem on the BL385 the technician told me to upgrade the firmware. The Blades already have a resent firmware v1.70 and all the Blades are at the same firmware.
so far today 2 blades same problem, sometimes the server boots on the second try.

Re: ProLiant BL465c G5 = Divide By Zero
What you mention on your firmware revision is the iLO2 firmware, the system ROM had a recent update and between the fixes there is:
"Resolved an extremely intermittent issue that could cause the system to encounter a system boot hang with a red screen. "
The latest version is dated 2009.03.12 (B) (21 Apr 2009)
